Space 51 opened in April 2013 as a one-person beat on the commercial space race - the companies promising to make orbit a destination, the hardware, the prices, the people. It ran for a year. The words were written then. The photographs are mine. Nothing in these files is generated.

The name winks at a certain air base in Nevada, with one difference that matters: everything in this cabinet is true.

Rebuilt in 2026 as a static archive - the original documents verbatim, each stamped with what became of its subject. Links inside the 2013 documents are preserved as published; a decade of link rot is part of the record.
